GERMAN WWI M.18 HELMET The interior is considerably stainedOut of the three major models, the M. 16, 17 and 18, the 18 is the most difficult to obtain. This very good example is stamped BF64, retaining virtually all of its original finish to the exterior skull. The inner M. 18 style liner band is untouched, complete with its three inner leather pads, the inner horsehair pads missing. Of the three leather pads, two have their tongues intact, with one tongue split at the drawstring hole; the last pad has the
