The tintype is slightly LOOSE in the case

All of the ones I checked were from Wisconsin cities but I didn’t look at all

All hands mustered and placed the remains of Commander Kingsley on board Wahneta

I have seen examples of it in engravings and prints

Not location or ID, but this came out of an old Augusta, Maine estate. Behind mat and glass in full case. Very good antique condition, some age related discoloration, one or two small abrasions. Case is complete with taped spine.
