LJQ500020 - Timing Cover Gasket – V8 Petrol M-TF Hi-Lift This kit contains the swivelTiming Cover Gasket sealing the front timing cover to the cylinder block on the 4. 4L AJ V8 petrol and 4. 2L V8 supercharged engines. The gasket seals the joint around the timing chain drive, retaining pressurised engine oil within the front cover so that the chains, guides and hydraulic tensioners remain supplied. It is renewed whenever the timing cover is removed.
