Of shaped rectangular form with a heavily gadrooned border. The inkstand has two diamond cut glass inkwells, wafer box, taperstick holder, snuffer and two pen recesses. It is raised on four large and ornate bracket feet. Hallmarked to the underside of the base for London 1825 by Joseph Angell I. Further hallmarked, with matching marks, to the bottle holders, bottle caps, bottle collars, wafer box, taperstick base,
