LR002682 - Steering Rack Boot Kit C-Turbocharger drawing from the low-pressure supplySteering Rack Boot Kit renews the protective gaiter that seals the steering rack against dirt and moisture ingress. The concertina boot fits over the rack housing and inner tie rod, retaining the rack lubricant and excluding contamination from the steering gear. A split or perished boot lets grit and water into the rack and accelerates wear. The kit contains one gaiter and two retaining clips, covering one side of the steering rack.
