1/4 Daguerreotype ID'd Man & Dog Dated 1854 Oakville Canada Photographer chicago but no damageQuarter plate daguerreotype in half of a case. Written inside the back of the case: $5 Mr. Richard Smith 51 Years Oakville Canada West June 19th, 1854 Dag is in very good condition and appears to have its original seals intact. No swipes, scratches or abrasions noted.. the underside of the glass could use a cleaning and there are some smudges on the OUTSIDE of the glass that I missed cleaning before making my scan. Comes in half of a case. Boxed
