when CSR Construction Materials ended nearly a century of dolerite extraction on the site

producing around 100 bread varieties from a 65-foot oven before the building was abandoned and ultimately demolished

typical of the selector's cottages built across rural New South Wales from the 1860s onward

Decaying Tuition Room trees The building opened as AsahiA solitary desk sits beneath peeling paint in the tuition room of Family School Fureai, a converted reinforced concrete school building in Yubari, Hokkaido. The building served as Asahi Elementary School from 1975 to 1983, then as a public lodging facility operated by Yubari Kanko Kaihatsu until 2006, when it was abandoned as the city entered fiscal rehabilitation.
