From our experience we have found that cars of this age have either no floor insulation left or it is in very bad condition

SALOON REAR BASE FOAM (1960-67) T4 RHD The creases in the boardsThis base foam was used on the saloon models of this period. The main foam has a foam topper on the front edge to give additional support and shape. This foam was introduced in the Austin Minis from 1960 onwards for vehicles fitted with a wire squab frame until the end of the MKI production. They were not used on the MKI Coopers as these had a completely flat foam.
